Curious George is in heavy rotation these days at our house. Luckily the books are a fun read, and plentiful. We own a couple, but the good old public library is a godsend when you can’t bear to read the same pages again and again. And again.

When I was a little girl, I got a kitten and named her Glitter, because her calico reminded me of sparkles. She wasn’t very friendly, and I’m not a big pet person, so Glitter was the only cat I’ve ever owned. When I saw these glittered kitten heels in the Anthropologie catalog, I had a moment of nostalgia for my cranky, sparkly old friend.
