The secretly jealous, withering stares of emo high schoolers sent this penguin to its death.
Anatomically correct jewelry is so much fun. String this handmade glass bead simply on a leather cord.
I’m trying to figure out my New Year obsession with zippers. Maybe it’s the sense of disclosure, or jagged edges that I can close anew.
Whatever.
All I know is that this Alkemie Jewelry Zipper Bangle looks a bit angry, and a lot cool.
My obsession with this bag is inexplicable. Forsooth:
1. I am a big bag person.
2. I like black and brights, not brown.
3. Cross-body purses further define my boobs, which need no further defining.
Despite all this, my Olivia Harris Zip Pocket Camera bag has not left my side since its purchase. Maybe it’s the louche zippers. Maybe it’s the haphazard “I don’t need to carry a lot of extra crap” vibe. Or maybe it’s just the fact that I drive a big-ass car, where I can stash diapers, wipes, and dignity, as needed.
I carry a stack of Moo cards around, both for Misosouper and for my AWESOME NEW PHOTOGRAPHY BUSINESS that I can’t stop shouting about. (Seriously–if you’re in Orlando or its environs, I’ll make you look good.)
Until recently, the cards just rattled around Ziplocked in my purse. Professional? You’re looking at her. (In my defense, I just started wearing real clothes again. And showering. And sleeping more than 3 hours a night. And if a new baby weren’t project enough, in the midst of this I began the aforementioned AWESOME NEW BUSINESS.)
These Moo card holders by Dear Sukie are the tops. Made from sunny papers sealed tight in plastic, my new Moo case creates the mirage that if you hire me, that I can actually show up and accomplish something.
