Once upon a time, long long ago, I was a graduate student in English literature. For a span of three years, I thumbed through, scanned, pretended to read, or actually read hundreds of books, as graduate students are wont to do. I’m occasionally inclined to re-read some of these books (especially the ones I didn’t actually, um, read), but the explosion of marginal notes, dogeared pages, and bored doodlings make it difficult.
These Book Darts would have solved that problem; their minimalist, reusable design allows you to annotate, without actually annotating your text. An elegant, useful, inexpensive solution–the total antithesis of grad school.
