an uncommon giveaway
Topping the list of my all-time favorite shops is the inimitable UncommonGoods. For me, shopping at UG is like pushing my cart through Target: it’s impossible to make it out without dropping $200 and buying gifts for people whom I don’t even like. Which is why I’m cartwheeling to bring you this week’s amazing giveaway–ZOMG shhh I’m trying to make it to the end of this post without ruining the surprise but holy hell I’m giving away a set of Illusion Wine Glasses–which is completely deserving of all hyperbole.

Harmony Candle Snuffer–a wedding present for couple whose flame you hope never snuffs out; 11. Glass Radiometer Spheres–a whirling, twirling antiquated wonder; 12. My favorite things at uncommongoods are their items made out of old vinyl records. I like the bowl, the snack tray, and the clock. My very favorite though, is the coasters. I’ve given them as gifts to a bunch of people, and they’re always well received. Very cool idea.

Like you, I love Uncommon Goods. They have so many unique items and it is a great place to get gifts for people who have everything.

This is quite possibly the coolest store ever! My personal favorite item is the Botanical ILLUSION VASE. I’m feeling inspired to do a painting! The wrap baby body suits are also clever and boy do we need some of these. Getting a baby into a onesie is like trying to put an octopus in a mesh bag. I bookmarked the site and am going to have to do a little bit of shopping.

1. It is for-real made out of recycled chopsticks! Yay.

Oh. my. god. Those wine glasses are incredible! I too, LOVE UG. I’ve had my eye on the bird counting cards (http://www.uncommongoods.com/item/item.jsp?source=family&itemId=15897) since before I had my baby. So I’d say that’s my favorite item (for the moment).
