tropicana

Rolling along with our Tangerine Tango theme this week, let’s add this Fruiteria lamp from Anthropologie to the wishlist. Love the warmth of the glass and those citrus hues.

first edition

Tuesday, November 15th, 2011

One of my favorite gifts to give is a beautiful old book, perfectly suited to the person receiving it. It’s not an easy purchase and you have to know the recipient well. But vintage covers are so gorgeous, and with this presentation, there’s no way you can go wrong.

details, details

Thursday, November 3rd, 2011

It’s all in the details: Subtle scallops, two-toned stitching around the edges, a hidden platform, leather that looks so soft it would melt around your toes… simple, elegant, classy. Quick, somebody get married so I can justify this purchase, please.

happy birthday to me

Monday, August 8th, 2011

I treated myself to a little shopping spree for my birthday this year, and ended up coming home with three different striped t-shirts. Once I broke the seal, I couldn’t stop. I think I have a problem.

bound for glory

Thursday, July 28th, 2011

My day job is in publishing, and old fashioned book binding holds a special place in my heart. These heels might be taking the literary motif a little too far, but they would accessorize nicely with this hand-bound iPad case.
