Suede booties are all over the place this fall. But trust me on this one. The “hiker bootie” trend is hideous, so skip all the laces and grommets and go with something a little more classy.
I complain about the fog in San Francisco a lot, I know. But it’s a bummer being cold all summer! The only redeeming factor is that I can legitimately wear these slouchy boots pretty much every day in August.
Finally, a pair of shoes that matches my taste in furniture. The blond wood platforms on these ankle boots are totally fly. The grey suede’s pretty nice, too.
Fall boots! The over-the-knee variety are a little too over-the-top for my tastes, but I am totally on board with this new crop of tall riding boots.
True story: as I was rushing to a client meeting in NYC, I lept over a puddle of melting snow, breaking a stiletto heel and–wait for it–ripping my favorite pencil skirt beyond my nether regions.
