layer it on

Thursday, October 6th, 2011

I love accessorizing in the fall before the big bulky sweaters have to come out. Tweed blazers look so good paired with a thin girly blouse and chunky necklaces, scarves, and pins. And of course, boots, always.

trail blazer

Monday, October 3rd, 2011

Fall is my favorite season for coats. But I’m starting to wonder how many tweed blazers are too many for one woman’s closet? Because I’ve seen at least three that I want to buy in the last month alone…

coats are my weakness

Thursday, November 4th, 2010

Some people have a shoe habit. Others collect bags. But coats are my weakness. My Carrie Bradshaw dream-come-true would be a walk-in closet filled with outerwear. Luckily I live in San Francisco, where I can wear cute wool jackets like this one almost year-round, and justify my habit.

where the wild things are

Monday, September 27th, 2010

Autumn is upon us, and the passing of the equinox unleashed a flood of mail-order catalogs through my mail slot. My favorite was the one from mini Boden, packed with adorable British duds for wee ones. This fuzzy number with the Teddy Bear ears had me at hello.
