zen and the art of sticky notes

Friday, August 20th, 2010

Recycle those little yellow reminders into paper cranes and little boats with Origami Sticky Notes. Then go all Blade Runner and surreptitiously drop them on your colleagues’ desks when they’re not looking. Who’s the replicant now?

mix it up

Wednesday, August 11th, 2010

Summer always makes me think of road trips, and road trips always make me think of mix tapes, and then I get all nostalgic for the old days but then I see things like this handmade Cassette Pouch on the internet and I feel much better.

blast from the past

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

Mad Men mania may have everyone sipping highballs again, but I’m opting to put my nostalgia on ice with this Space Invader–inspired Ice Tray. Totally different take on retro.

echo bravo lego

Wednesday, July 14th, 2010

These Walkie Talkies look awesome, unless you’re going for a stealthy secret agent look. Then those classic Lego colors are probably not the best choice to keep you undercover.

from our friends at TheFind: easy bean fruit and veggie bean bag chairs

Thursday, August 6th, 2009

easybeanEasy Bean is the brainchild of entrepreneur and designer Francoise Sejourne. Since 1993 Francoise has been creating sustainable, whimsical and comfortable beanbags and soft seating for her fans around the globe. Before Easy Bean Francoise was a designer for Esprit, Sam and Libby as well as a trend consultant for the Gap as well as the co-founder of Blue Marlin, a vintage sportswear company.

Perhaps these bean bags will inspire healthy eating, but most of all we love the colorful modern design. The most recognizable designs include the ‘produce collection’. The colorful beanbags are topped with detachable cotton velveteen leaves. The fruit and veggie bean bag collection comes in a range of colors including apple red, orange, eggplant purple, lemon yellow, peach and many others. The produce collection comes in two sizes: childs approximately 31″ in diameter (sized for children up to 7 years of age) and adult approximately 42″ in diameter. A modern design the beanbag covering is 100% cotton and filled with 100% post-consumer product and the filling contains no cfcs and can be recycled.

All of Easy Bean’s products are made in the USA and partners with Goodwill Industries for fulfillment needs. Take a peek at many of Easy Bean’s other soft seating options including a take along ‘carry-on’ mini beanbag with a handle, perfect for toddlers and infants. The two toned large ottoman also shown here is perfect for family seating areas and can be customized in an array of colors.
