We saw many of these upside-down clay planters in Low Country, and their defiant reversal of gravity made me unreasonably happy.
And my friend the hostess thoughtfully stuck these bright tables throughout her backyard, creating insta-conversation areas for her very thirsty guests.
Attention technogardeners:Â assemble this Botanicalls DIY Plant Twitter Kit (you’ll need some tools, like a soldering iron, solder, needle-nose pliers, small snips, masking tape and a flat-head screwdriver–hey, I never said that turning your plant into a robot was easy), stick in the soil next to your plant, and listen to your plant’s feedback via Twitter.
Just be prepared when your tomato plant publicly complains that it needs a “companion” or is ready for its sammich, dammit.
