tea towels for two

If I could redo my kitchen, I think this would be the palette. Love the warm, muted, yet happy hues. Very  Heath Ceramics.

send in the clowns

Wednesday, October 5th, 2011

We’ve reached the fussy eater stage of toddlerhood in our household, so when I saw this circus waffle maker, I took note. I’ll take elephants and lions over string cheese and goldfish.

set sail

Such a cute idea for summer popsicles. I wish I could rig these up to the Zoku for instant pops.

self-service

Tuesday, August 16th, 2011

Last weekend some friends of mine got married. The wedding was gorgeous, but I felt mildly guilty the whole time because I haven’t yet gotten them a gift. I thought about what would be useful to have in my own kitchen, and what I wish I had registered for when I got married. And I gotta say, it’s a serving set. Kind of boring, but way classier than the tongs and mismatched salad servers I’m always cobbling together.

jam on it

Tuesday, February 22nd, 2011

My friend Hannah first introduced me to this darling little chalkboard jam pot and I am in love! It is the perfect receptacle for all of those mystery mashes in my fridge, and so much more stylish than my current system of sticking masking tape labels on recycled glass baby food jars. Bon appétit, bébé!
