Some people shop for Christmas decorations in January… I buy outdoor furniture in late August. In San Francisco, our summer doesn’t even start until September, so I’m going to score some bamboo plates on sale and be ready to picnic all through fall.

I’ve been searching for a personalized gift for the children on my holiday gift list. I came across some personalized melamine plates and thought they would be perfect. What could make mealtime more fun than your very own plate? It is also a good way to teach preschoolers how to spell their name. They will see it emblazoned across their plate at every meal. I’m so excited about these food face plates that I’m going to post them, even though they’re not available for purchase until APRIL. Egads. You can, however, sign up for an e-mail that will notify you when they’re in stock.
