I’m excited to be heading to Salt Lake City this week for the Alt Summit, despite the fact that the forecast is for snow and rain. The conference is a blogger wonderland, and speaking of winter wonderlands, they’ve picked that theme for a big party. We’re supposed to wear white, but alas, I didn’t get my act together to shop in time. If I were smarter (or just more organized) I would’ve ordered this sweet little beaded number a month ago. It would have looked beautiful with the gold heels I am kicking myself with as I type.

Does this dress look like a nightgown? Maybe. Do I want to pair it with a straw hat and wander down a cobble-stoned European street on a smoldering hot summer day? Yes, please.

I’m trying to figure out my New Year obsession with zippers.  Maybe it’s the sense of disclosure, or jagged edges that I can close anew.

Whatever.
