Supposedly it’s bad feng shui to store anything under your bed. But do incredibly beautiful, high design drawers count?

I hope I’m not boring you with this one, but I’m geeking out on ornament storage at the moment. This year I built up my ornament collection and so I need a new system to pack everything up. I’m digging the basics here. Way classier than the plastic tupperware scariness out there. The top shelf of my closet will thank me.
Somehow there is never enough storage in my house. I’m usually on the hunt for creative bookshelf ideas, but these days I find myself day-dreaming about turning my horrid 2nd bedroom/storage pile into a proper office/studio. These wire cube wall shelves would be perfect for keeping crafty supplies out of reach of little hands.
Quite the opposite, actually: this knife holder corrals your tools with movable fibers, so any sort of artistic configuration is possible.
This is mind-bendingingly meta: original knife block design by Martin Robitsch, hacked into a DIY version by Chris DiClerico, mentioned by Lifehacker, and un-DIYed in Lifehacker comments.
An infinitely customizable, economical alternative to the Expedit. (Hey, I have one in my house too. I’m just sayin’.)
