The east coast got its first snow last weekend, which made front page news in the New York Times and filled my Facebook wall with winter wonderland photos. Bundle up, my far-away friends!
Hold. The. Phone. How did I miss the memo that there’s a U.S. website for London’s trendy-on-a-budget fashion mecca Topshop? Sheesh. Well, alright then. Let’s remedy this right quick with a cozy knitted tweed cardigan. There, all better now.
Here in San Francisco, the weathermen are saying it’s the coldest summer in decades. After a solid month of fog, and August temps holding in the 50s so far, I want to crawl into this cashmere cocoon sweater and not come out until October.
Last night I took a survey of my long cardigan situation, and let’s just say that it looks a bit ragged, and smells even worse.
Since cardis are a year-round thing–hello, frozen tundra of offices and movie theaters!–I’m going to make this space-dyed stunner a spring-to-fall fling.
