I have to give a shoutout to the condos we stayed in on Maui. This was our first resort vacation with a toddler, and it was fabulous. Kiddie pool with a pirate ship, full kitchen and washer-dryer in the room, and a morning yoga class on the beach for mom (babysitter not included… thanks, dad!). Not cheap, but well worth it in my book.
For our upcoming Summer Beach Tour ‘09, my daughter wants a backpack to haul her assorted comb, rock, squirt gun, and My Little Pony collection around. (Translation: I’m tired of her stuff rattling around in the bottom of my purse.) I’m going to splurge on this kitty sack, because I’m thinking that it will get its second wind during her high school Harajuku phase.
Are you going away this weekend? If so, cheers; if not, then lather yourself with this bar of Island Coconut soap, which smells like delightfully like the Hawaiian Tropic coconut oil of my crispy, burnt youth.
In an act of cosmic synchronicity, this is Misosouper’s 200th post, which also coincides with Misosouper’s 200th comment (seriously! I couldn’t have planned that if I tried), which also coincides with my 30th birthday (on Tuesday, but really, it’s my birthday week, and that’s what counts).
