Who wouldn’t want to fall into a bed of marshmallows? And sunny yellow ones, to boot.

I found this slipper chair on Target’s website. Wait, what? The color is spot on, the form is classic, and the graphics are bold, modern, and cheerful. While we’ve all been wowed by the design sensibility Target brings to its fashion partnerships and mass market housewares, this is the first time I’ve seen it extended to furniture. And, omg I just saw that it also comes in yellow. And has a matching ottoman.

I’m not generally into exotic prints on my rugs, but this handwoven dhurrie from India is hitting all the right notes. Love the pattern, love the yellow-and-grey.

Continuing my home color kick from last week, I stumbled upon this Slim Collection at Room and Board. Love the clean lines and bold hues, especially that sunny burst of yellow. Zing!

My favorite pair of shoes are adorable yellow heels that I found on sale at Anthropologie a couple of years ago. I love having a cheerful splash of color on my feet, and yellow heels go with everything. Clogs look great with sundresses for summer, so I think I’ll make these my follow-up pair.
