The new Room and Board catalog just landed on my doorstep. I hadn’t even cracked the cover before I spied something that I wanted. Oh, what I would give for an unlimited home furnishing budget.
Technology is a funny thing. The more addicted I become to Instagram, the more I miss my old Polaroid. After seeing so many beautiful images on the blogs of the folks I met at Alt Summit, I’m inspired to become a better photographer myself. So I might need this adorable camera bag to help me tote around my gear. Now I just wish I knew where she got those tights.
Adding to the list of things I wish I’d acquired before Alt Summit this week: Cute business cards, a cute business card holder, and did I mention a white dress?
I’m all packed and ready to leave for Alt Summit tomorrow! I shouldn’t be congratulating myself for packing a 3-day trip into a carry-on, but I’m very pleased with myself for succeeding. I do wish, however, that my suitcase had a little more class than the Samsonite brick on wheels I’ll be hefting into the overhead. Like this, for example. But with enough room for the four pairs of shoes I’m bringing.
I’m excited to be heading to Salt Lake City this week for the Alt Summit, despite the fact that the forecast is for snow and rain. The conference is a blogger wonderland, and speaking of winter wonderlands, they’ve picked that theme for a big party. We’re supposed to wear white, but alas, I didn’t get my act together to shop in time. If I were smarter (or just more organized) I would’ve ordered this sweet little beaded number a month ago. It would have looked beautiful with the gold heels I am kicking myself with as I type.
